All financial planning and investment firms offer similar products and services. With Cynthia Nowicki Moore, Wealth Management & Financial Planning, we get to know your financial concerns and life goals before investing your money. We are a fee-based company, and while most of our revenues come from client fees, we offer annuities and private placement investments on a commission basis.

A money manager may just look to give you the best return possible after checking your risk tolerance. Some offer only one style of investments and don’t understand your entire net worth. While we use outside managers for parts of our clients assets we generally request and review statements from other investment managers, acting as a coordinator and consolidator for your overall financial picture.

We offer a financial account consolidation and financial planning tool which aggregates all investment accounts held with us, other advisors, and employee retirement accounts, bank accounts, credit cards, loans and mortgages to give you complete access to your financial picture daily.

We understand that managing your investments is more complex and time-consuming than ever before. Working with us as your wealth manager provides you with a level of security. We communicate with clients on an ongoing basis - giving financial reviews, portfolio reporting and monitoring, answering questions, reviewing investment portfolios, and discussing new issues as they arise throughout the year. Our approach balances the risks and returns for each of our clients. By educating our clients it enables them to make informed decisions prior to retirement and during retirement.


  • Our client base includes high net worth retirees, pre-retirees, multi-generational families, single men and women—divorced and widowed. We also serve a large number of 30 something’s whose peak earning years for most end by 40 years old.
  • Each groups needs vary and we are very aware of the needs of each group, the challenges each group of our clients needs, and tailor out planning and investment recommendations accordingly.
  • We provide excellent and timely services for all clients.
  • We review client’s tax returns annually and make planning and investment recommendations based on lowering taxes when possible. We help clients with any charitable giving programs they may have.
  • We annually review income needs for the coming year and all sources of income. Recommending changes to investments or spending to meet the current needs.
  • We review current insurance policies – property casualty and liability –as well as life, disability and longterm care insurance.

As an investment-advisory representative with Royal Alliance Associates, a registered investment advisor, our process incorporates financial planning, investment portfolio management, and a number of collective financial services.

Investment Consulting – We evaluate your assets and create an investment strategy most suitable for your retirement income goals, wants, needs, and desires for the present and the future.

Portfolio Management - We manage your portfolio on a regular basis with the goal of improving the possibility of achieving your goals.

Tax mitigation strategies – We review your situation with your tax preparer, and other outside resources, to help you mitigate any unnecessary taxes.

Estate planning – We review your situation with outside estate-planning experts to create a game plan for the most efficient transfer of your wealth.

Wealth protection – We review all of your insurance coverage and liability gaps with outside insurance experts to mitigate any unnecessary risks in your wealth plan.

Charitable gifting strategies – We utilize outside charitable gifting experts to evaluate any charitable gifting strategies that may be in line with your own goals.

Discovery

With our wealth advisory process we truly understand who you are as a person. We focus on what is most important to you, both financially and personally. We will look at all major aspects of your financial life, including your specific values and goals as well as your time horizon, income and liquidity needs, ability, and willingness to take risk. Together, we define your individual definition of financial success and work with you to translate this into prioritized goals.

Analysis

In order for us to thoroughly understand your situation, we will look at your current financial position. We will analyze the effectiveness, composition and expenses of your existing portfolio. We will analyze specific items for action to make sure that your goals and financial situation are aligned.

Development

Based on our analysis, we will develop a long-term wealth plan focused on getting you from where you are today to where you want to be in the future. Through this process, we will address any items that need clarification, and make alterations based on any additional information.

Implementation

The next step is the implementation of your plan. In addition to creating your investment portfolio we will also work with a team of financial professionals to address all of the non-investment action items we’ve identified. You will also receive an Investment Policy Statement (IPS), which documents what we have agreed to and assigns responsibility and accountability.

Monitoring

Your plan is never static, it changes frequently, so we update it regularly to reflect your life. We will monitor your plan closely and provide you with clear and concise reporting. In addition, as financial markets rise and fall, your portfolio’s exposure to stocks, bonds, cash and other investments will tend to fluctuate as well. Through periodic rebalancing we will make sure your portfolio maintains its target allocations. This helps control the level of risk in your portfolio and minimizes emotional decision-making.
